RIYADH, July 2 – Saudi Arabia announced Monday the discovery of new oil and gas deposits in the Eastern Province and the Empty Quarter, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said that Saudi Aramco discovered seven oil and gas deposits.
The discovery included two unconventional oil fields and a reservoir of light Arabian oil in the Eastern Province, while two natural gas fields and two natural gas reservoirs in the Empty Quarter.
